Help with diapers...Huggies leak?

Okay i have a pack of 192 diapers which are huggies and everytime i use them my one month old son will have pee all over his back! I can't take them back they are opened already so i have to use them. Any tips to avoid them from leaking? Do i need to fasten them tighter or fold over the top???
