Spells and there meanings?

I found a spell well atleast i think it is i found it on my air conditioning system: its was a candle wax wrapped like a heart with 3 pins in it with long pieces black and neon green thread with different knots in it..... i found it wrapped in velcro so that water will not get in it, securely fastened on my AC unit outside... what do you think this means ... forget about kids ad craft day ... i do not have any kids..
